Regional Library System Director
The Ohoopee Regional Library Board of Trustees is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader who will be responsible for the administration of all activities and programs of a four-county library system.
The Ohoopee Regional Library System serves libraries in Toombs, Tattnall, Montgomery, and Jeff Davis counties with headquarters in Vidalia, Georgia, and branches in Lyons, Glennville, Reidsville, Mount Vernon, and Hazlehurst.

The Director must also possess skills in personnel supervision and financial management.

The area includes top rated public school systems, a four-year Christian college, and a state technical college. When choosing where to live, options include picturesque rural areas, unique small communities, and a town with a variety of places to eat and shop.
- A Masters of Library Science Degree (MLS from a program accredited by the American Library Association)
- Certification by the Georgia Secretary of State Board of Librarians
- Five years of progressively responsible library experience
