Family Fun Passes

Family Fun Passes

Explore Georgia with the Library’s Family Fun Passes!   These passes are provided by Georgia Public Libraries’ partnership with some of Georgia’s finest attractions and venues: Georgia’s State Parks, the Center for Puppetry Arts, the GoFish Education Center, and Zoo Atlanta. These passes provide free admission as well as other cost-saving features for these venues. All you need is a PINES library card in good standing. Please plan ahead as only a limited number of passes are available for check-out. Call your local library to check on pass availability or if you have any questions.

GoFish Education Center

See freshwater aquariums full of bass, trout and many other species. Explore Georgia’s underwater habitats, from mountain streams to blackwater swamps. Get eye-to-eye with alligators and other aquatic wildlife. Test your skills on fishing and shooting simulators. Cast a line and catch a real fish in the outdoor fishing pond. See how fish are raised in a state-of-the-art hatchery.
The Go Fish Family Pass, when presented with your valid library card, is good for free admission to the Go Fish Education Center for as many as four family members; a great day of fun for everyone and potential savings of up to $30! They are easy to visit, too. The center is less than a mile off I-75 at Exit 134, next to the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry!

Zoo Atlanta

Library cardholders across the state of Georgia can now check out a free trip for four to the Zoo! Visit the library circulation desk to check out the Zoo Atlanta DVD. On return of the DVD, you will receive a receipt you can use for free Zoo admission for up to two adults and two children.
Pass is valid for 14 days from return of the DVD and may be checked out once per year, per household.

Center for Puppetry Arts

Check out the Georgia Public Libraries’ Passport to Puppetry for free museum admissions and special show and workshop discounts for your family! The pass is valid for up to four free museum admissions; a potential savings of up to $33 per family. Parties with children must include at least one adult. The museum provides educational fun with more than 350 puppets from around the world.

State Park Pass

Georgians with public library cards can borrow a Georgia State Park and Historic Site Pass from their local libraries. The passes are good for free parking or admission at any of the 63 parks and historic sites statewide.
Passes are checked out like a library book, usually for up to 5 days. The Park Pass exempts you from paying the daily $5 parking fee at state parks, and the Historic Sites Family Pass exempts up to 4 visitors from admission fees to any state historic site in the state.
