Chromebook and Launchpad Checkout
Through local funds and state & federal grants, the library offers many technical services to help make life easier for you. Patrons can checkout ChromeBooks and Launchpads. Read below for guidelines.
Patrons must have a PINES library card in good standing to checkout a Chromebook or a Launchpad. All that is required is filling out a short form.
All devices are available for checkout for 2 weeks with up to 2 renewals. If there are no holds, patrons can recheck the devices out again.
Our ChromeBooks and Launch Pads were made available through state and federal funds.
"This program was assisted through a grant from the Georgia Public Library Service with federal pandemic funding from the State of Georgia Governor's Office, and is partially assisted with funds from the Library Services and Technology Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services."

| Checkout a Chrome device to use at home for work, school, or personal use. Patrons can sign in with their personal Google account or browse as a guest. |
Playaway Launchpad tablets are designed for children ages 3-10 and contain preloaded educational games in the areas of STEAM, Early Literacy, Science, Critical Thinking, and more. |
