PINES Library Access for Youth Cards

PINES Library Access for Youth (PLAY) Cards

The Ohoopee Regional Library System is excited about the PLAY cards feature created by PINES. Currently, the Vidalia School System is the only system that have play cards. We are in the process of expanding to the Toombs County School System and will begin the process with the Montgomery County School System soon.

The PLAY cards allow us to partner with schools to give all students in K-12 grade a library card with access to all the digital resources the library has to offer. In addition, students have the ability to check out up to 5 physical items from the library with no overdue fees. The PLAY card assigned to students will be a number that is familiar to students in some form.

  • Students will get a public library account based on their student number.
  • Students have access to all library digital resources for free.
  • Students can check out five (5) physical items with no overdue fees and two (2) renewals.
  • Students can use library computers for up to three (3) hours per day. Parents must sign agreement.
